Agra Fort

Our first destination in Agra is the massive Agra Fort, the epitome of the Mughal Empire. Sometimes remained the most powerful fort in India, the fort has witnessed the rise and fall of the Mughal Empire. It was built by Mughal Emperor Akbar, who built it as his capital in Agra. The fort served as the powerhouse of the Mughal Dynasty for many

Centuries before it started witnessing the bad days of the Mughals, hen Shah Jahan was imprisoned in this fort by his son Aurangzeb.

After the Independence of India, the fort was transformed into a royal museum. Today, it showcases the armory, costumes, jewelry, and other precious belongings of the erstwhile Mughal Empire.

Mehtab Bagh

Mehtab Bagh is a beautiful garden surrounding Taj Mahal. People who come to visit Taj Mahal spend their time in this garden while exploring the majestic beauty of the Taj. Flowers, fountains, and fragrances make this garden a traveler’s delight. This garden is highly popular among photographers who capture beautiful pictures of Taj from this garden.

After visiting Mehtab Bagh, return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay. The journey continues on the next day.

Day 2 – Agra Sightseeing:

On the second day of the Agra Overnight Tour, we will explore the remaining attractions in Agra before concluding our journey. On this day, we will also explore the Taj Mahal, the most beautiful monument in the world.

Taj Mahal:

Get up early in the morning, around 5: 45 AM and head straight to Taj Mahal. Seems too early you will see thousands of people have already reached the Taj to enjoy the fresh rays of the Sun falling on the crystal white monument. This view is described as the Sunrise View of the Taj.

Taj Mahal looks beautiful throughout the day, but sunrise is the time when its beauty can leave you stunned. The calmness of the atmosphere and the cool breeze passing over the River Yamuna will take you to some other world.

Speaking about Taj Mahal, this monument hardly required any introduction. It has been included in the Seven Wonders of the World and is popularly known as the Symbol of Love. The monument was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaj Mahal who died while giving birth to their 14th child. It is believed that Mumtaj Mahal was the most beautiful woman in the history of India. The king wanted to build something equally beautiful for her, and thus Taj Mahal came into existence. To better understand what it takes to build Taj Mahal, 25,000 people worked for 22 years to bring this architectural masterpiece into reality.

After spending some time at Taj Mahal, return to your hotel for breakfast. Check out from your hotel and drive towards our next destination, which is Baby Taj.

Baby Taj:

Often called the Younger Sibling of the Taj, Baby Taj is originally the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula. It is a historical monument dedicated to the chief courtier in the court of Mughal Emperor Jahangir. The monument is frequented due to its historical significance as well as wonderful architecture, which resembles the Taj Mahal.

Agra to Delhi Departure: (Optional Visit Fatehpur Sikri)

After visiting these places, we shall drive back to Delhi and reach there upon arrival to Delhi; our driver shall transfer you to your hotel or Indira Gandhi International Airport. The Agra Overnight Tour ends here. We thank you for being a wonderful traveler.
