Tour Description
Taj Mahal at Full Moon Night
Visiting the Taj Mahal at Full Moon Night - An Experience like No Other in World.
The Taj Mahal is
considered one of the most romantic monuments in the world. Built by the Mughal

Agra Fort.
On this tour,
our first visit is to Agra Fort in the evening. It is a massive fort built by
Mughal Emperor, Akbar. Agra Fort is a historical monument that is also famous
for its beautiful architecture. The Fort was built by Mughal Emperor Akbar as a
residence of the royal family and the capital of his empire.
Located at a
distance of 2.5km from Taj Mahal, Agra Fort is built in red sandstone. The
craftsmanship and superb architecture of this monument invite millions of
tourists every single year. Also, the fort serves as a museum housing the
weapons, dresses, and other belongings of the erstwhile rulers that are a big
attraction for the tourists.
After visiting
Agra Fort, return to your hotel. Enjoy a delicious dinner in your hotel before
the next adventure.
Taj Mahal.
As the moon is
ready to spread its shine on the earth, reach Taj Mahal to see the cool
moonlights falling on the crystal white marble. In the moonlight, the monument
changes its color every minute, and each transforming color is just magical.
The entire atmosphere is hypnotic with couples spending their time with their
loved ones, appreciating the beauty of the monument. While a day tour to Taj
remains a hustle of exploring every corner of the monument, the moonlight view
doesn't require anything else other than standing in front of the monument and
watching the white color transforming in hues.
This is also the
time when the cool breeze becomes more soothing. The calm and composed
environment is sufficient to bring the other person out of you, allowing you to
forget your worries and focus on what's in front of your eyes.
After exploring this majestic sight, return to your hotel for an overnight stay. The journey resumes on the next day.
Day 02 – Fatehpur Sikri and Departure.
Though it’s a
dedicated moonlight tour, we won’t let go of some moments of the Sunrise view of Taj.
Leave the hotel in the morning and reach Taj Mahal to enjoy the sunrise view.
This monument
shows the
different colors of it as a comparison to the past night. Enjoy the moment
and with a smile just say goodbye to Taj.
The next destination
is Fatehpur Sikri, a historical town located 45km east of Agra. The town was
established during the Mughal Dynasty as the capital of the Empire. However,
the rulers had to move away after a severe drought hit the town. You can still
witness the proud monuments speaking the tales of the powerful empire.
Continue driving
towards Delhi and conclude your journey there. We shall drive you back to your
hotel or Indira Gandhi International Airport. The Taj Mahal Moonlight Tour ends
here. Thanks for being a wonderful traveler.
