Tourists from all over the world craving a multifaceted experience come to India and visit the three principal tourist locations collectively known as the Golden Triangle Tour. These locations are Delhi, Agra, Jaipur & the lake city of Udaipur. This special itinerary combines Golden Temple with these three locations to bring to you a premium North Indian experience.

Day – 01 New Delhi arrival.

The warmth of traditional Indian hospitality, inspired by ‘Atithi Devo Bhava (guests are like gods), will be felt by you on arrival in Delhi. Our representative will accompany you and ensure a smooth and speedy check-in at the Delhi hotel. Have rest in a cozy setting. The overnight stay will be in a Delhi hotel.

Day – 02 New Delhi / Old Delhi City Tour

After breakfast proceeds for a sightseeing tour in Old Delhi:

Red Fort: Delhi's most famous monument, the Red Fort, stands as a powerful reminder of the Mughal emperors who ruled India. Its walls, which stretch for over two kilometers (1.2 miles), were built in 1638 to keep out invaders. However, they failed to stop the fort from being captured by the Sikhs and the British. To take your imagination back to the ancient era, a one-hour sound and light show of the fort’s history is held each evening.

Jama Masjid: Jama Masjid is another marvelous treasure of the Old City, and is the largest mosque in India. Its courtyard can hold an incredible 25,000 devotees. The mosque took 13 years to build and was completed in 1650. A strenuous climb to the top of its southern tower will reward you with a stunning view across the rooftops of Delhi. Be sure to dress appropriately when visiting the mosque or you won’t be allowed in.

Chandni Chowk: Chandni Chowk, the main street of old Delhi, is a shocking contrast to the wide, orderly streets of New Delhi. Cars, cycle rickshaws, hand-pulled carts, pedestrians, and animals all compete for space. It’s chaotic, crumbling, and congested, but completely captivating as well. As one of the oldest and busiest markets in India, it's narrow winding.

Lanes are full of inexpensive jewelry, fabrics, and electronics. For the more adventurous, Chandni Chowk is an excellent place to come to sample some of Delhi’s street food.

Humayun’s Tomb: If you think Humayun’s Tomb looks a bit like the Taj Mahal in Agra, that’s because it was the inspiration for the Taj Mahal creation. The tomb was built in 1570 and houses the body of the second Mughal emperor, Humayun. Later back to the Hotel for an overnight stay in Delhi.

Day-03: New Delhi Sightseeing tour with Akshardham Temple

After breakfast, proceed to sightseen in New Delhi and start with:

Akshardham Temple: Akshardham or Swaminarayan Akshardham complex is a Hindu Mandir, and a spiritual-cultural campus in New Delhi, India. Also referred to as Akshardham Temple or Swaminarayan Akshardham, the complex displays millennia of traditional Hindu and Indian culture, spirituality, and architecture. The temple, which attracts approximately 70 percent of all tourists who visit Delhi, was officially opened on 6 November 2005 by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalama.

Lotus Temple: The Bahai Temple is commonly referred to as the Lotus Temple, as it’s shaped like a lotus flower. It’s particularly pretty at night when it’s attractively lit up. Made out of white marble, the temple belongs to the Bahai Faith, which proclaims the unity of all people and religions. Everybody is welcome to worship there.

Qutub Minar: Qutab Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world, is an incredible example of early Indo–Islamic architecture. It was built in 1206, but the reason remains a mystery. Some believe that it was made to signify victory and the beginning of Muslim rule in India, while others say it was used to call the faithful to prayer.

India Gate: The towering archway of India Gate at the center of New Delhi is a war memorial, built-in memory of the Indian soldiers who lost their lives fighting for the British Army in World War I. At night it glows warmly under floodlights, and the gardens that line its boulevard are a popular place to enjoy a warm summer’s evening.

Laxmi Narayan Temple (If Time Permits):- Built in 1938 by the Industrialist G.D. Birla, it is one of the major temples in Delhi and is located near Connaught Place. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Laxmi and her consort Narayan. The temple was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi on the stipulation that people of all castes shall be allowed to enter the temple. The market the day is free with disposable with the transport services. Later back to the hotel for the overnight stay in Delhi.

Day-04: Delhi/Agra via Yamuna Expressway (220 Km 4 Hrs)

After having a delicious breakfast in the morning, proceed for Agra, the erstwhile Mughal capital. Agra is home to three UNESCO World Heritage sites- Taj Mahal, Agra Fort & Fatehpur Sikri. On arrival at Agra, check-in at the designated hotel. After having relaxed for some time, move for visiting the enchanting Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal is the star attraction of Agra. Built by Shahjahan in memory of his beloved wife Arjumand Bano Begum a.k.a. Mumtaj Mahal, Taj Mahal is built of white marble of Makrana. Makrana marble changes colour with the colors of the sun. After visiting Taj Mahal and having sumptuous lunch, move for visiting Agra Fort and the Tomb of It-Mad-ud-Daula (Baby Taj). After completing the sightseeing of the famous monuments of Agra, you will have enough time to explore the local market of Agra which is famous for its marble products, handicrafts, and leather articles. Later in the evening, return to the Agra hotel for an overnight stay.

Day-05: Agra Sightseen Tour

Early Morning sunrise Taj Hamal 5.45 am. After visiting Taj Back to Hotel having delicious breakfast in the morning, proceed to sightseeing Agra.

Agra Fort: You would regret if you miss Agra Fort during your visit to Agra. The 16th-century monument is yet another proof of the architectural brilliance of the Mughals. This is situated near the gardens of the world-famous TaJ Mahal. Called the Red Fort of Agra, you will be awe-inspired by the powerful fortress. The fortress comprises many palaces namely, Jahangir Palace, Khas Mahal, and so on.

Itmad-ud-Daulah: India’s first tomb to be made completely out of marble, Itmad-Ud-Daulah signals the beginning of a new era in Mughal architecture. Until then, it was buildings of red sandstone. It was constructed during Jahangir’s period. The 21-meter high tomb was constructed in memory of Mirza Ghiyas, who was the father-in-law of Jahangir. Later back to the hotel for the Overnight stay in Agra.

Day-06: Agra/Jaipur (240 Km 5/6 Hrs.)

After breakfast, check to leave Agra, check out from Hotel, and proceed to Jaipur

On the way to Jaipur from Agra visit en-route:

Fatehpur-Sikri: Built by Akbar, the Mughal emperor in 1570, the city was a tribute to Sufi Saint. Fatehpur-Sikri is a perfect blend of Indian, Islamic, and Persian architecture and it was built using red sandstone. For around 10 years, the city remained the capital of the Mughal Empire. The city has a 6-kilometer-long wall on three sides and there are towers and gates.

Later proceed to Jaipur straightway and upon arrival in Jaipur check in to the hotel. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day- 07: Jaipur Sightseeing City Tour

After breakfast, proceed to Jaipur City Tour and visit the following places:

Amer Fort: The old capital of the Kachhawaha stands atop a range of craggy hills. The fort is remarkable as much for the majestic grandeur of its surroundings as for its sturdy battlements and beautiful palaces. It is a fine blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture. The solemn dignity of it red sandstone and white marble pavilions, when reflected in the lake at the foothill, is a sight to behold. The original palace was built by Raja Man Singh, the additional extensions were built by Maharaja Mirja Raja Jai Singh and Sawai Jai Singh lithe last Maharaja of Amer, who built a new city, called Jaipur, where he shifted his capital in 1727.

Jal Mahal: On the way to Amer, this small palace is set in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. Renovation around the lake is in progress. Stay overnight at a hotel in Jaipur.

Day-08: Jaipur City Tour

Situated in the heart of the old city, it occupies about one-seventh of the old city area. The palace is a blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture; it houses a seven-storeyed Chandra Mahal in the center, which affords a fine view of the gardens and the city.

Jantar Mantar: In built-in 18th century by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, huge masonry instruments were used to study the movement of constellations and stars in the sky. Enormous sun-dial still provides accurate time, which is subject to daily corrections.

Hawa Mahal: built-in 1799, by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, is the most recognizable monument of Jaipur. The 5-storied stunning semi-octagonal monument having 152 windows with overhanging latticed balconies is a fine piece of Rajput architecture. Originally designed for the royal ladies to watch and enjoy the processions and other activities, on the street below. Now it houses a well-laid-out museum. The display “Jaipur past and present” is the special feature of this new setup museum.

Albert Hall Museum: situated in the Ram Niwas Garden. This graceful building was founded in 1876 by Prince Albert (also known as Albert Hall). It has a rare collection of archaeological and handicraft pieces.

Later after lunch, visit the Market in Jaipur for the shopping as much as you required.

Later return to the hotel and stay overnight at Hotel in Jaipur.

Day- 09: Jaipur/ Amritsar by Flight 

After breakfast, flay to Amritsar upon Arrival Amritsar pick up and transfer to the hotel in Amritsar. Check-in to the hotel, overnight stay in Amritsar.

Day-10:- Amritsar Full Day Sightseeing

After breakfast, start your city tour with the blessings of the Golden Temple-the most important Sikh shrine which is also called Mecca for the Sikhs is a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs. Then visit Jallianwala Bagh- where, on April 13, 1919, British and Ghurkha soldiers opened fire on an unarmed forbidden gathering, killing hundreds of civilians. Then visit Durgiana Temple, the temple of the goddess of power. After lunch visit Maharaja Ranjit Singh Summer Palace Museum- The summer place of Maharaja Ranjit Singh which is situated in the heart of Ram Bagh, Amritsar.

Evening visit Indo-Pak Wagah Border to watch Flag Retreat Ceremony- Wagah, an army outpost on Indo-Pak border 30 Kms from Amritsar where the daily highlight is the evening “Beating the Retreat” ceremony. Soldiers from both countries march in perfect drills, going through the steps of bringing down their respective national flags. As the sun goes down, nationalistic fervor rises, and lights are switched on marking the end of the day amidst thunderous applause. Stay overnight at Hotel in Amritsar.

Day- 11: Amritsar Free day for Personal Activities

Day-12: Amritsar/ Delhi by Flight

After breakfast, leave Amritsar check-out from the hotel to the airport to catch the flight to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi pick up and transfer to the hotel in Delhi. Check-in to the hotel, overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 13: Delhi / Varanasi by Night Train 2^nd AC Class Sleeper.

After breakfast, free day for Personal Activities Evening transfer to Railway Station in time to board Train for Varanasi. Meet on your arrival in Varanasi and transfer to Hotel Varanasi. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Varanasi visiting bathing ghats, The Kashiviswanath Temple, The Durga Kund, The Sankat mochan -- Shrine of Monkey God Hanuman. Overnight in Varanasi.

Day 14: Varanasi Local Sightseeing

In the Morning visit Vishwanath temple, Annapurna Devi, Vishalakshi Devi, Sankat mochan, Durga Kund, Manas temple, and Birla temple. Overnight in Varanasi.

Day 15: Varanasi to New Delhi Departure by Flight.

After breakfast at Hotel, Morning catches the flight from Varanasi to Delhi. Driver pick up you from Delhi Airport.  Cheek-in Hotel Free day for Personal Activities Stay overnight at Hotel in New Delhi.

Day 16: Delhi Departure IGI Airport

This brings the end to our wonderful tour. Post breakfast at the hotel, guests would be transferred to the International airport for their onward journey back home.
